First Appointment- Comprehensive Dental Examination
There are many reasons to visit a dentist, and finding the appropriate dentist to meet your particular needs is very important to us. Because of the unique nature of our practice, all patients go through a complete comprehensive examination process before reconstructive, cosmetic, or general dentistry is performed.
No two patients are alike, and we take pride in learning how we can make a difference. Before any records are taken, our doctors like to meet with you in our consultation room to listen to your “dental story”. By taking the time to listen and understand your long-term goals, your vision for your oral and overall health, your expectations, timelines and life circumstances, we can then help you reach the best level of dental health both functionally and esthetically.
This initial examination includes:
Initial interview with the doctor
Digital Images
Full set of radiographs- CBCT or Pano if necessary
Tooth by tooth cavity check
Periodontal evaluation
Digital scan of teeth and bite
Oral Cancer screen
Treatment Recommendations if necessary
Oral Hygiene Instructions
Bite- check for tooth wear or other occlusion related problems
We reserve two hours of the doctor’s time to be with you at this visit, and there is an initial appointment fee. Please contact our office for more information.
